Guadeloupe is mountainous it has tropical forests, rivers and water falls on the island of Basse Terre and of course beautiful picture postcard beaches; Grande Terre has a drier climate and is flat with beautiful white beaches and turquoise lagoons which are protected by coral reefs and towards the north of the island, sugar cane plantations.
Les Saintes, Marie Galante and Desirade have a dryer climate and are very flat, the first renown for the beautiful bay, Marie Galante for it’s beautiful beaches and tranquillity and La Desirade dry and arid and fisherman village lifestyle.
